The use of FLAIR™ Equine Nasal Strips by world-class equestrian competitors on world-class equine athletes is a testimony to the benefits the strips provide.
"I have been using Flair Nasal Strips on my horses for the past few years. I believe Flair Nasal Strips are a key component to our success."
Phillip Dutton, Dual Gold Medalist Atlanta & Sydney Olympics
“Although I did not know of any scientific evidence I’m prepared to spend the money and use Flair Strips to give my horses every competitive opportunity.”
Andrew Hoy, winner of the 2006 Rolex Kentucky 3-day Event and Badminton Horse Trials
“The respiratory system is a limiting factor in performance of horses. The fact that all horses break some blood vessels in the lung (i.e. bleed or experience exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage) during hard exercise shows that this is a system on the edge. Therefore anything that you can do as an owner, rider or trainer to reduce this stress must be beneficial. My view is that the Flair® Nasal Strip is a safe, simple and effective way to support the horse’s respiratory system during training and competition.”
Dr. David Marlin BSc, PhD, President of the International Conference on Equine Exercise Physiology and Advisor to the FEI for the 2008 Beijing Games Equestrian Events in Hong Kong
"I tested the Strips in training and was impressed. My horses seemed to recover really quickly. I really believe in the benefit of Flair® Nasal Strips, not only as a sport driver, but also as a veterinarian."
Florian Hoermann, Germany, Veterinarian and Training for World Championship Single Horse Driver in Poland 2008
"When I used a Flair strip on my 5 year old thoroughbred mare on the second day of a challenging jumping clinic, the difference was night and day. She had no problems performing, was comfortable, and seemed to enjoy the day. She never got winded. The Flair nasal strip kept her comfortable during her strenuous workout and allowed her to perform without any signs of being overtaxed. The Flair works! I would use it anytime you plan to work your horse a little harder than usual."
L. Murphy, Watertown, MN
“'Brushstrokes' is a twenty year old 13h jumping pony owned and ridden by my 10 year old daughter Alice. Recently, they were jumping in a 90 cm show jumping round as part of a “combined training” competition. The competition was open to children and adults. There were twenty in the class and Alice and Brushy were one of only four to go clear within the time, they finished 5th. Brushy used a Flair ® Nasal Strip for the first time that day. The difference in recovery after 14 jumping efforts around a 100 metre x 120 metre arena was very noticeable. Alice and 'Brushy' are going to Hickstead in June and will use Flair Strips again."
