August held good fortune for Chelsea Tanner

Posted on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 at 9:34 pm.

August was a great month for my great gelding, Dashin For Freedom and I. In the 3 shows we attended he made over $1000 – including winning the 2D at the UBRA World Finals and placing 3rd in the 2D for the Maturity at the Finals as well. We ran the 11th fastest of the entire 1st go at our Iowa NBHA State Finals and qualified the short go but unfortunately tipped a barrel. Headed to the Big J Barrel Blast and ended up winning 5th in the 1D there as well! Cash is running stronger than ever and we are ready to keep our winning streak going — attending a Labor Day barrel race and then to Indiana next weekend for a big Future Fortunes event. Wish us luck!

Go Team FLAIR!

On the Rodeo Trail – DeHoff

Posted on Wednesday, June 8th, 2011 at 3:51 pm.

SUMMER HAS BEGUN AND RODEO SEASON IS FULLY UNDERWAY.  FROM CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA TO FT. SMITH, ARKANSAS I HAVE BEEN ON THE PRO RODEO TRAIL THESE PAST COUPLE WEEKS.  NO MAJOR WINS YET, BUT THAT IS PART OF RODEO.  YOU HAVE TO GO TO WIN AND I AM RELYING ON FLAIR EQUINE NASAL STRIPS TO KEEP MY HORSES FEELING FRESH AND HEALTHY THESE NEXT FEW MONTHS ON THE ROAD.

THIS WEEKEND WE HEAD TO BROWNWOOD, TEXAS FOR A TCRA RODEO.  I MADE THE DECISION TO TURN OUT OF GARDEN CITY’S PRO RODEO AND USE THE DEISEL TO HEAD TO BROWNWOOD WHERE I CAN RUN BARRELS AND ROPE.

IT IS HOT IN OKLAHOMA AND I HAVE BEEN WORRIED ABOUT MY GOOD HORSE, REBULL, BLEEDING.  SO FAR WITH THE HELP OF FLAIR STRIPS HE HAS BEEN RUNNING HARD AND FEELING GOOD EVEN ON THE LONGEST AND HOTTEST TRIPS.   LOOK FORWARD TO TALKING TO YOU ALL AGAIN SOON.  HOPEFULLY WE WILL HAVE SOME BIG WINS TO TELL YOU ABOUT!
