On the Rodeo Road with Kelsey Lutjen

Kelsey Lutjen will be sharing with us over the next few weeks as she travels to and from the International Finals Youth Rodeo and the National High School Rodeo Association Finals. Kelsey is from Arizona and has qualified for the high school finals through the Arizona High School Rodeo Association. FLAIR is excited to hear about her travels, and we wish Kelsey the best of luck!

“Well we made it to Shawnee Saturday night all in one piece. I won the barrel racing jackpot Sunday on Barbie. we were up Sunday night in the first performance in the goat tying and barrel race. Sitting second in the goat tying right now and made a good run on a tough goat! Fab worked amazing and ran hard for me. There are some pretty tough goats in, the pen so hoping we can draw good for round two!! The barrels was a little tough last night, we caught the second barrel. But coming back for round two going to leave them standing! I got a calf down this am, we were 3.9 on a tough calf but hoping to comeback and be fast Thursday night! For today mom and I are running errands and having fun in hot Shawnee, Oklahoma!!!!”
